Who is eligible to apply?

Any independent musician or band not currently signed to a major label is eligible. Must be 18+ with at least one publicly available original song.

How are grant recipients selected?

Applications are reviewed by our panel of music industry professionals. We evaluate the quality of your music, your career goals, and how effectively you plan to use the grant funds.

When will I hear back about my application?

Applications are reviewed monthly, and all applicants are notified of the decision within 30 days of the application deadline.

Why is there an application fee for the Platinum Grant?

The non-refundable application fee helps cover the administrative and review costs associated with evaluating each submission thoroughly by our panel. It ensures we can dedicate the necessary resources to fairly assess every applicant based on merit.

Do I have to pay the grant money back?

No. These are grants, not loans. We do ask recipients share how the funds impacted their career.

Can I apply for multiple grants?

Currently, only the Platinum Grant is offered. You may apply once per funding cycle. Winning a Platinum Grant automatically makes you eligible for consideration for the Annual Grand Prize based on merit.

When are grant recipients selected each month?

Our panel reviews after each month's deadline. Notifications usually go out around the 15th of the following month (e.g., May applicants hear back ~June 15th).

How and when are grant funds paid out?

Once confirmed (W-9 etc. received), funds are disbursed within 5-10 business days, typically via PayPal, Zelle, or ACH, based on location/preference.
