Who can apply?

Any independent musician or band not signed to a major label. Must be 18+ with at least one original song publicly available.

How are recipients selected?

100% merit-based. Not a lottery. We evaluate your music, artistic vision, and how you plan to use the funds. The strongest applications rise to the top.

What does the $7 cover?

You're paying for an honest review — written feedback on your music, vision, and project from me and the panel. Everyone gets this, regardless of grant decisions. Can't afford it? Request a fee waiver — you'll get the same feedback.

When will I hear back?

Applications are reviewed monthly. Expect a decision around the 15th of the following month.

Do I have to pay it back?

No. It's a grant, not a loan. All we ask is that you share how the funding helped your music.

How do I receive the funds?

After quick paperwork (W-9 for US), funds are sent within 5-10 business days via PayPal, Zelle, or direct deposit.

Can I reapply?

Yes — once per funding cycle. And if you're selected, you're automatically entered for the $10K annual prize.
